Diary, 1807-1849.

Diary is an old case book from Helen Rogers's lawyer Daniel Rogers; she turned it upside down and wrote on the blank pages. The case book lists cases from Tioga and Chenango Common Pleas, 1807-1812. The diary, cited in "The Window to the Street," contains: details of Cold Spring marriages, 1843-1849; list of participants at the Huntington Circus, camp meetings, sleigh rides and carriage trips, 1844-1846; a "Fortune Book," 1843; launching of ships and details on Cold Spring vessels, 1836-1849; recipes, poems, report of a school meeting, drawings of vessels, and religious sayings.
